The project also aimed to optimise digital pathways for donations and incorporate seamless functionality for the online shop and holiday home booking system, with integrations to streamline CRM connections.

Introducing DEBRA

Charity website CRM integration and bespoke website build.

Founded in 1978, DEBRA is a charity, supporting over 3,000 individuals. DEBRA also provides services to healthcare professionals and researchers who work with EB.

With over 250 staff, 1000 volunteers, and a network of shops up and down the country, DEBRA has a lot of work to do. 

This is where Debra approached Tribus, explaining that although their current website was built less than two years ago, the CMS has many limitations that make some of the website features unfit for purpose. 

As well as this, the sitemap, navigation and even the homepage were designed to cater for the needs of the organisation, not the needs of the users. 

For these reasons, Debra wanted a whole re-design of their current website, linking it to a sufficient CMS that would meet their needs.

The Result?

A streamlined user experience, better support for donations, and efficient access to essential services, ultimately reinforcing the charity’s mission to improve the lives of those affected by EB.

The project’s standout feature was the integration of systems to streamline user interaction and backend management. 

By connecting the website to DEBRA’s CRM, the charity gained more efficient handling of data, supporting member services and online donations. Additionally, tools were embedded for event bookings, payment processing, and the online shop, ensuring that these systems worked smoothly with existing platforms. 

The site was built with modules that could host various third-party tools, including cookie consent management and tracking analytics. This made the platform easier to manage and maintain while providing visitors with reliable, secure features.
